Test / Operational Functions
TX&RX Test
Tests transmit performance and receive sensitivity, including transmit power, frequency, and receive sensitivity after connection to the device under test.
AIS Message Analysis
Analyzes messages received from surrounding AIS devices during the previous 30 minutes and indicates an abnormality when message collision occurs.
Antenna VSWR Test
Measures the voltage standing wave ratio of an AIS antenna at its operating frequency and determines whether it is operating normally against a VSWR threshold below 1.5.
Ship Emulation
Provides virtual-vessel message simulation, autonomous AIS position-message transmission using the built-in GNSS, and automatic inquiry requests using AIS messages 3, 5, 18, and 24.
